At Living Waters Bible Church, our mission is to proclaim the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ while equipping believers to serve in ministry. We accomplish this through a framework of Making Disciples by Equipping the Body for Worship and Witness.
Making Disciples (Matthew 28:18-20)
Our ultimate purpose is to make disciples of Jesus Christ by focusing on evangelism and spiritual training. Evangelism involves sharing the Good News that Jesus died for our sins, rose again, and offers eternal life to all who believe in Him (John 3:16). Training equips believers to apply God’s Word in their lives, enabling them to grow in their faith and knowledge of Christ (2 Peter 3:18).
Equipping the Body (Ephesians 4:11-16)
Our plan is guided by Ephesians 4:11-16, which emphasizes equipping believers for ministry. By teaching believers to know, apply, and share God’s Word, we empower them to fulfill their roles in the body of Christ. This shared effort fosters spiritual and numerical growth, creating a unified and thriving church (Ephesians 4:16).
Worship and Witness (John 4:23-24, Acts 1:8)
Our ministry process combines gathering for worship and training to witness, to serve and evangelize in the community. We invite members to connect through Sunday services and midweek activities, while smaller groups offer opportunities for deeper relationships and mutual encouragement. This rhythm of worship and witness promotes personal growth, evangelism, and service.
Believers Empowered for Ministry
Ministry at Living Waters Bible Church is carried out by believers, each uniquely gifted by God (1 Corinthians 12-14; Ephesians 4:11-16). These spiritual gifts, whether for outreach or internal support, are to be used to meet needs and glorify God. We encourage every believer to discover and exercise their gifts through the Holy Spirit, fulfilling their God-given roles in the church.
